Winner of Tekla Bim Awards

Since 2013, Asdea has been using BIM processes throughout our design phases. This new way of work helps the Asdea team to reduce time when producing CAD designs. There are many advantages both in the design and in the execution phase, thanks to the use of Tekla Structures.

Using BIM helps lower inconsistencies between the architectural, structural, and plant designs while increasing quality and innovation.

Due to this development, ASDEA won the Tekla Bim Awards 2016 with the BIM St.Stephen Church, Nigeria project. The complex building uses modern features to develop an overall unique architectural design. The unique cover consists of doubled-curved gridshell domes supported by structural arches. These domes skillfully merged modern design elements with the solemn traditional formality of religious buildings.
