On the 6th and 7th of June, Prof. Eng. Guido Camata was invited, in his capacity as professor at the University of Chieti-Pescara, to take part in the JRC Mitica Workshop held in Ispra, Italy, the topic of which was the Structural Health Monitoring of transport infrastructures. Prof. Camata was a joint host of session three on Digital Technologies and iSHM enablers. The workshop as a whole looked at the results of the MITICA Project and used it as a jumping-off point to examine approaches and new technologies in innovative indirect structural health monitoring (iSHM), discuss the pros and cons of the approaches, and investigate lessons learned from the MITICA Project and other practical applications.

ASDEA’s own Massimo Petracca accompanied prof. Camata to the workshop to represent the company.

ASDEA would like to thank the JRC for the opportunity to participate and congratulate the JRC and all those who gave presentations as the event was well organized and full of interesting insights.
