The First European Conference on OpenSees Days will take place on 19-20 June 2017 at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal.
Asdea Software will take part in the conference, which aims to entice new users and bring together the OpenSees European community. The Programme includes some of the more active OpenSees developers, which should lead to interesting discussions about new features.
Confirmed keynote speakers include Anastasios Sextos, André Barbosa, Asif Usmani, Dimitrios Lignos, Dimitrios Vamvatsikos. Then there will be Frank McKenna, Khalid Mosalam, Lu Xinzheng, Pedro Arduino and Theodore Karavasilis.
The conference will also officially present the European OpenSees Association (EOS) and its objectives. We invite all engineers, graduate and post-graduate students, and researchers interested in earthquakes to attend the workshop to discuss basic and complex case-studies. The discussion will also focus on new software features and ongoing developments.
