\nThe villa has three floors, internal decor painted in the 18th century, and it is immersed in a vast park bursting with majestic greenery. The main hall is 9 meters high with a vaulted ceiling that is open at the center and illuminates the room. This project\u2019s purpose was to recover the structure in its entirety, ensure its static safety, and to improve the seismic behavior of the building while paying particular attention to elements of considerable value or clear historical value.<\/p>\n
The most important part of the project was the repair and consolidation of the large central dome made of solid bricks that was severely damaged by the earthquake. The intervention provided for the consolidation of the dome using extrados wrapping, connecting steel fibers to the dome using steel staple connectors inserted in the masonry and natural lime mortars.<\/p>\n
